Dr. Richard Shanaman, D.D.S., P.C. Meet The Staff

Janet

Janet brought extensive communications expertise to the practice when she ended a fifteen year teaching career. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Kutztown University in Education. In 1991, she decided to enhance her practice management skills by continuing her education at American University in Washington, D.C., where she received her Master's Degree in Human Resources Development.

Much of the structure and environment of our practice is a direct result of Janet's interest and education in the behavioral sciences.

She serves as a facilitator for the staff in developing interpersonal communications, lectures on listening and communication skills and facilitates other practices in attaining these skills.

Donna

Donna brings strong organizational skills to the practice by virtue of over 15 years experience in accounting and 8 years as an administrative assistant.

"I see my role as providing support for patients, as well as administrative and clinical staff members. Because I value your time, my primary goal is to assist you in scheduling appointments that will work for you and as well as the practice. In addition, I take a great deal of pride in organizing the information in your charts; it is readily available when needed."

Terri

Terri comes to us with 20 years of dental assisting experience and is a graduate of the Berks County Vocational Technical Dental Assisting Program. She is a human dynamo who not only cares for patients and handles inventory, but she is our "Ms. Fix It." When something doesn't work, call for Terri.

Cheryl

Cheryl has 19 years of experience as a dental hygienist and an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is instrumental in developing and implementing an excellent soft tissue management program to assist you in attaining optimal oral health goals. Cheryl aggressively seeks to increase her knowledge through professional journals and continuing education courses.
